🗓️Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 |
Entering the Soul of Lima
Starting from the Presidential Palace and the old town , we walked along the cobblestone streets and saw colonial buildings interspersed with modern streetscapes, as if it were a dialogue between the city's past and present.
Entering the ossuary and gazing quietly at the walls made of millions of bones, it feels like standing still in time, prompting one to reconsider the weight of life.
For lunch, we chose the tranquil and elegant Casa Tambo to savor a modern interpretation of local Peruvian ingredients and experience the culinary charm of Lima.
In the afternoon, we visited the Huaca Pucllana pyramid ruins , stepping on the traces of a thousand-year-old culture right in the heart of the city. It turns out that ancient civilization has always been beneath our feet and has never left.
In the evening, we walked along the cliff to Larcomar shopping mall , where the setting sun cast its rays on the Pacific Ocean and a gentle breeze caressed our faces.
We strolled to Love Park and took a group photo next to the colorful mosaic wall, as if drawing a gentle conclusion to today's memories.
On this day, we stepped into the soul of the city, and etched the scenery and human touch into our hearts.

Day 2 | Bird Island Amazement and Desert
In the early morning, take a boat to the magnificent Bird Island and gaze at the "candlestick" geoglyphs in the sea, like a Peruvian version of the Nazca Lines mystery.
During the voyage, we saw sea lions swimming leisurely, penguins standing upright, and seabirds flying together up close—nature's most authentic welcoming ceremony.
In the afternoon, we visited the century-old La Caravedo winery. The red brick walls reflect the sunlight, and you can sip a cup of Peruvian wine made from grapes and feel the warmth of this land in a slightly tipsy state.
As evening fell, we entered the Ika Desert , and an off-road adventure was about to begin. We rode ATVs, speeding up and sliding down, our laughter mingling with the golden sand.
As the sun sets, the entire sand dune is bathed in golden orange hues, making it feel like you're on another planet.
On this day, there was the sea, the wind, the wine, the desert, and the magnificent scenery you remember together.
Breakfast: Hotel / Lunch: La Caravado / Dinner: On your own

🏨 Restaurant: 4★ San Agustin (Parakas)
Day 3 | The mystery of the sky and the tranquility of nature
Early in the morning, we boarded a light aircraft and took off to look down at the Nazca Lines from above. Were those totems deeply engraved in the desert sacrificial prayers or codes for communicating with the universe?
During the flight, you will feel an indescribable sense of awe—as if you have traveled through time and witnessed the mysterious brilliance of an ancient civilization.
After noon, we headed to the Paracas National Nature Reserve. Here, the desert meets the ocean; the gentle sea breeze and the unique rocky shores allow one to quiet down and listen to the breath of nature.
In the evening, we drove back to Lima and checked into the modern and comfortable Doubletree Hilton Hotel, ready to welcome more surprises and delights tomorrow.
On this day, from the sky to the sea, we saw the vastness of the world and gained a deeper respect for the mysteries of civilization.

Day 4 | Fly over the plateau and enter the Inca land
Travel to Cusco, then be transferred by private car to the Sacred Valley.
The Sacred Valley was considered a sacred place by the Incas, and its fertile land and crisscrossing river valleys nurtured the Andean civilization. When you arrive in this valley, it also symbolizes entering the embrace of Pachamama (Mother Earth), allowing you to approach your Machu Picchu journey with a more composed mind.
Spend the night in the sacred valley, allowing your body and mind to gradually acclimatize to the high altitude, laying the most comfortable foundation for the rest of your journey.

🏨 Restaurant: 3 stars Las Casitas del Arco Iris (Saint Valley)
Day 5 | Pilgrimage to Machu Picchu
Departing from the Sacred Valley in the morning, take the Expedition scenic train , winding along the Andes Valley and enjoying the magnificent scenery of mountains and valleys, until arriving at Aguas Calientes.
Upon arrival, visit Machu Picchu , stepping into the sacred realm of the Inca civilization and experiencing the fusion of ancient wisdom and the energy of heaven and earth. After the guided tour, you are free to stroll around Aguas Calientes, or you can choose to visit Inkaterrra Café at your own expense, where you can dine in a natural building surrounded by rainforest and enjoy a leisurely afternoon.
In the evening, we took the train back to the Sacred Valley, back to the embrace of the mountains. The hotel we're staying at tonight is run by the Rainbow Foundation , and all profits are donated to local children's education and living programs.
By joining this journey, you are not only exploring the magnificent landscapes of Peru, but also bringing warmth and hope to the local community through your actions.
The clean and comfortable accommodations made this trip more than just a journey; it was a rewarding and touching experience.

Day 6 | Holy Valley Exploration
Today, we will venture into the heart of the Inca civilization—the Sacred Valley.
We set off early in the morning for the magnificent ruins of Ollantaytambo, which was once an important military and religious base for the Inca royal family.
Walking on the solid stone steps feels like traveling through time and space, touching the pulse and wisdom of the empire.
Next, head to Pisac Market and stroll among the colorful traditional weavings, handicrafts, and spices. It's not just a shopper's paradise, but also a space for deep engagement with the local culture.
In the afternoon, return to Cusco's Old Town, stroll along the cobblestone streets, visit the Dodecagonal Stones and the Plaza de Armas, and experience the unique atmosphere of the fusion of colonial and Inca cultures.
If you want to experience local specialties.
At noon, you can ask your tour guide to take you to a recommended restaurant to taste authentic roasted guinea pig .
For dinner, I recommend UCHU Steakhouse , a well-known steak and alpaca restaurant in Cusco.
Enjoy the creative presentation of traditional Peruvian ingredients in an exquisite way.

Day 7 | Cusco City
This day's itinerary was a day to delve into the soul of Cusco.
The morning begins at the Sacsayhuaman fortress, the Inca's proudest military and spiritual sanctuary, where layers of megaliths form a silent epic.
Next, we arrived at the Qorikancha Temple of the Sun, its golden walls reflecting the glory of the empire. Stepping into Cusco Cathedral and Plaza de Armas, time seemed to stand still in a colonial afternoon.
At noon, we visited the San Pedro Market, which is not just a place to shop, but also a microcosm of Cusco's daily life. The aroma of fruit, the colors of handicrafts, and the laughter of vendors all made you feel embraced by the city.
For lunch, we served the most classic Peruvian dish— roasted guinea pig (Cuy ). It's a local delicacy full of courage, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, savory and fragrant with the pride of Peruvians.
Slow down in the afternoon and head to Florencia Y Fortunata Café, a favorite among locals.
The sunshine, music, and aroma of coffee here are like the rhythm of Cusco—unhurried, gentle yet powerful.
Sitting by the window, watching the flow of people in the ancient city, time seems to slow down.
That day, we didn't go too far, but we witnessed the true spirit of Peru.
Breakfast: Hotel / Lunch: On your own / Dinner: On your own

🏨 Restaurant: 3 stars Tierra viva cusco centro (Cusco)
Day 8 | Highland Scenery Highway Tour | Cusco → Puno
Today, we will embark on our journey from Cusco in a way that is closer to the earth.
We took a comfortable bus to Puno on the shore of Lake Titicaca.
The route will traverse the Andes Mountains and highland grasslands.
Outside the window are layers of mountains and the silhouettes of shepherds.
The vehicle offers simple tea and rest stops, allowing for a slow and leisurely journey.
This is a road that connects the heart of the Inca people with the soul of the highlands.
There were no hurried footsteps, only the breath of the earth and the sound of the wind.
On this day, put aside time.
Synchronize your pace with South America.
Quietly feel the ancient energy flowing from Cusco all the way to the tranquil lake surface of Puno.
Breakfast: Hotel / Lunch: Buffet included / Dinner: On your own

🏨 Restaurant: 3★ Tierra viva puno
Day 9 |
Lake Titicaca cruise
We will be sailing on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, at an altitude of 3,812 meters.
The lake is as still as a mirror, reflecting the sky and soul of the Andes Plateau, and also holding the wisdom and faith of the indigenous people.
Our first stop was Urosburi Island—a "floating village" built by locals using layers of totora reeds.
These reeds can not only be woven into houses and boats, but can also float on the water for months.
This way of life originated from the ancestors who moved away from the land hundreds of years ago to escape war and chose to "create a home" in the lake.
Our second stop was Taquile Island, where the islanders are famous for their hand-woven hats. These hats are not just decorations, but rather "speaking cultural codes"—the color, weaving method, and way they are worn can reveal a person's marital status and social role.
In the evening, we flew back to Lima, treasuring the tranquility and richness of the day into our memories. (Or continue to Bolivia, to be determined separately.)

💬 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What are the differences between you and large Taiwanese groups?
A: We only do private trips , which are quiet, require no social interaction, and are not tied to fixed shopping or photo spots.
Vehicles and tour guides are arranged exclusively for you and can be adjusted to your physical condition and pace, so you don't have to accommodate unfamiliar group members.
Q: I'd like to visit the Amazon, the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia (the "Mirror of the Sky"), or experience Ayahuasca. Can you arrange that?
A: Yes, that's possible. Please provide your expected travel dates and number of days , and we will plan accordingly based on the season and flight connections.
Q: Would you recommend visiting Rainbow Mountain?
A: Rainbow Mountain is about 5,200 meters above sea level. Whether or not to go there depends entirely on your physical condition .
If you are in good health and have adapted to the high altitude without significant discomfort, we can include this trip in our plans.
However, if any discomfort occurs during the journey, you can cancel at any time or return via the original route , with safety as the top priority.
The vehicle will be equipped with oxygen cylinders, coca leaves, and other emergency supplies to prevent altitude sickness. The tour guide will also accompany the passengers throughout the journey to monitor their condition.
Q: How are the group size and price calculated?
A: You can travel alone. However, the price per person will differ if there is only one passenger in the same vehicle compared to nine friends sharing the ride (due to differences in vehicle and guide costs). Ultimately, the price will depend on the hotel category, mode of transportation, and experience you choose.
Q: Why this price?
A: We insist on safety, professionalism, and quality control .
- Both tour guides and drivers are local professionals with valid licenses and are fluent in English/Spanish. Chinese-speaking tour guides will also be selected from professionals who are truly familiar with Peruvian culture and geography.
- The route is designed with high altitude acclimatization in mind, and the bus will not go straight to high altitude as soon as you get on the bus; instead, it will gradually adjust in the Sacred Valley.
- The fleet of vehicles is legally operated , with new vehicles and complete maintenance; long-distance buses or carpooling are not used as substitutes.
- Transparent communication and clear explanations before the trip ensure that it's not a "cheaper option with a reduced experience".
Q: Are there cases of altitude sickness in Cusco and Puno?
A: The itinerary has been designed with high acclimatization in mind, starting from the Sacred Valley and gradually ascending to reduce discomfort; oxygen is available on the bus, and hotels and meals will also be adjusted accordingly.
Q: Can we upgrade to a hotel or train?
A: Sure. Please let us know your preferences (e.g., Belmond, Relais & Châteaux) and we will provide upgrade options and price differences.
Q: Does it include meals?
A: Daily breakfast is included; some lunches and dinners are provided depending on the itinerary; Michelin/local fine dining restaurant experiences can also be customized. (Like Madio, central)
Q: Is this a private trip?
A: Yes. Kiki Peru Travel offers only 100% private, customized trips , ensuring flexibility, privacy, and a high-quality experience.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: It is recommended to book at least 2 to 3 months in advance , especially since Machu Picchu tickets are limited.
If you wish to book an Inca Trail tour , please make your reservation at least six months in advance . This is because the Inca Trail tour is limited to 500 people per day, which also includes staff such as guides, cooks, and porters. Once the quota is full, no more people can be added.
