🗓️Detailed itinerary

Day 1| Into the Soul of Lima

We started from the Presidential Palace and the old city , walked along the cobblestone streets, and saw the interweaving of colonial buildings and modern street scenes, like a dialogue between the city's past and present.

Entering the Church of Bones and quietly gazing at the walls made of millions of bones, it feels like gazing at time at that moment, making people rethink the weight of life.

For lunch, we chose the quiet and elegant Casa Tambo , where we savored the modern interpretation of local Peruvian ingredients and experienced the charm of Lima's taste buds.

In the afternoon, we visited the Huaca Pucllana pyramid ruins and stepped on the traces of a thousand-year-old culture in the heart of the city. It turned out that the ancient civilization has always been under our feet and has never left.

In the evening, we walked along the cliff to the Larcomar Seaview Shopping Mall . The setting sun shone on the Pacific Ocean and the wind gently blew on our faces.

We strolled to Love Park and took a photo next to the colorful mosaic wall, as if to put a gentle end to today's memories.

For dinner, we returned to Huaca Pucllana Restaurant . Under the lights of the pyramid ruins, we toasted, tasted, felt the history, and celebrated our gathering at this moment.

On this day, we walked into the soul of the city and engraved the scenery and human feelings into our hearts.

Day 2| Bird Island Wonder and Desert

In the morning, take a boat to the magnificent Bird Island and overlook the "Candlestick" geoglyphs on the sea, which are like the Peruvian version of the Nazca mystery.

During the voyage, we saw leisurely sea lions, standing penguins and seabirds flying together at close range. That was the most authentic welcome gift from nature.

In the afternoon, we arrived at the century-old winery La Caravedo The red brick walls reflect the sunlight, take a sip of Peruvian wine made from grapes, and feel the passion of this land while feeling slightly tipsy.

In the evening, we entered the Ica Desert and an off-road adventure was about to begin. We rode a dune buggy up and down, laughter and golden sand flying together.

When the sun sets, the entire sand dune is dyed with kumquat, as if you are on another planet.

On this day, there is the sea, the wind, the wine, the desert, and the magnificent scenery that we will remember together.

Day 3| The mystery of the sky's perspective and the tranquility of nature

Early in the morning, we boarded a light aircraft and took off, overlooking the Nazca Lines from a high altitude. Are those totems deeply engraved in the desert a prayer for sacrifice or a code for communicating with the universe?

During the flight, you will feel an indescribable shock - as if you are traveling through time and space and witnessing the mysterious aura of ancient civilization.

After noon, we headed to Paracas National Nature Reserve, where the desert meets the ocean. The gentle sea breeze and the rocky shores invite you to calm down and listen to the breath of nature.

In the evening, we drove back to Lima and checked into the modern and comfortable Doubletree Hilton Hotel, ready for more surprises and excitement tomorrow.

On this day, from the sky to the sea, we saw the vastness of the world and gained more respect for the mysteries of civilization.

The scenery outside the window is magnificent and picturesque, and the exquisite meals and thoughtful service inside the car make the journey itself a wonderful experience.

Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, your professional guide will lead you into this mysterious city in the sky. Walk past the Sun Gate, the Temple of Sacrifice, and the terraced fields, and experience the wisdom and sacredness of this ancient civilization.

Day 6| Exploring the Sacred Valley

Today we will go deep into the heart of the Inca civilization - the Sacred Valley.

Walking on the solid stone steps, it feels like traveling through time and space, touching the pulse and wisdom of the empire.

Next, visit Pisac Market and stroll through the colorful displays of traditional weavings, handicrafts, and spices. This market is not only a shopping paradise, but also a place to deeply connect with local culture.

In the afternoon, return to the old town of Cusco, stroll through the cobblestone streets, visit the Twelve-Cornered Stone and the Plaza de Armas, and experience the unique atmosphere of the fusion of colonial and Inca cultures.

Day 7|Cusco City

This day's itinerary is a day to delve into the soul of Cusco.

The morning begins at the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, the Inca's proudest military and spiritual sanctuary, where huge rocks are stacked layer by layer into a silent epic.
Next, we visited the Qorikancha Temple, whose golden walls once reflected the glory of the empire. Entering Cusco's Cathedral and Plaza de Armas, time seemed to have stood still in the afternoon of the colonial era.

At noon, we headed to the San Pedro Market, which isn't just a place to shop; it's a microcosm of life in Cusco. The aroma of fruit, the colors of handicrafts, and the laughter of vendors all make you feel like you're being embraced by the city.
For lunch, we planned to have the most classic Peruvian dish— roasted guinea pig (Cuy) . It's a courageous local flavor, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a savory flavor that carries the pride of Peruvians.

Slow down in the afternoon and head to Florencia Y Fortunata Café, a local favorite.
The sunshine, music and aroma of coffee here are like the rhythm of Cusco - neither fast nor slow, gentle but powerful.
Sitting by the window, watching the crowds flowing through the ancient city, time slows down.

I didn’t walk too far that day, but I did see the most authentic Peruvian soul.

On this day, there is no need to rush, just immerse yourself in the slow rhythm of the train.

Feel the wind, sunshine and tranquility of the South American plateau with your heart.

Let this railway gently connect the antiquity of Cusco and the tranquility of Puno.

Perhaps, this is the best time for you to reconnect with your inner self.

🏨 Restaurant: 5★ GHL Titicaca Lake (Puno)

Day 9| Lake Titicaca Cruise

We will sail on the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca, at 3,812 meters above sea level.

The lake is as quiet as a mirror, reflecting the sky and soul of the Andes Plateau, and also hiding the wisdom and beliefs of the indigenous people.

Our first stop was the Uros Floating Islands, a "floating village" built by locals using a type of reed called Totora, which is stacked and interwoven layer by layer.

These reeds can not only be used to weave houses and boats, but can also float on the water for months.

This way of life originated from the fact that our ancestors moved away from the land hundreds of years ago to escape war and chose to "build their own home" in the lake.

Our second stop was Taquile Island, where the islanders are renowned for their handwoven hats. Hats here aren't just ornaments; they're cultural codes that speak volumes—their color, weave, and how they're worn can reveal a person's marital status and social status.

In the evening, we flew back to Lima, leaving the tranquility and richness of this day in our memories. (Or continue to Bolivia, another plan

💬 FAQ

Q: What are the differences with large groups in Taiwan?
A: We only offer private tours , which are quiet, without the need for socializing, and without being tied down to fixed shopping and photo spots.
The vehicle and guide are specially arranged for you, and can be adjusted according to your physical strength and pace, so you don't have to cooperate with unfamiliar group members.

Q: I want to go to the Amazon, the "Sky Mirror" in Uyuni, Bolivia, or experience Ayahuasca. Can you arrange it?
A: Yes. Please provide the estimated travel date and number of days . We will plan according to the season and flight connections.

Q: Do you recommend going to Rainbow Mountain?
A: Rainbow Mountain is about 5,200 meters above sea level. Whether to go there depends very much on your physical condition .
If you are in good physical condition and have adapted to the plateau without any obvious discomfort, we can include this itinerary in your plan.
However, if you experience any discomfort during the trip, you can cancel or return at any time . Safety is the priority.
The car will be equipped with oxygen cylinders, coca leaves and related emergency supplies to prevent altitude sickness, and the tour guide will accompany you throughout the trip to observe the situation.

Q: How is the group size and price calculated?
A: You can travel alone. However, the price per person will be different if you're sharing a vehicle with just one person than with nine friends (due to the difference in vehicle and guide costs). The final decision will depend on the hotel, transportation, and experience you choose.

Q: Why this price?
A: We insist on safety, professionalism, and quality control :

- Both the tour guides and drivers are local professionals with certificates and are fluent in English and Spanish. The Chinese tour guides will also be selected from professionals who are truly familiar with Peruvian culture and geography.
- The route arrangement focuses on plateau acclimatization . You will not rush to high altitude as soon as you get on the car; you will first gradually adjust in the Sacred Valley.
- The vehicles used are from a legally operated fleet , and are in new condition and fully maintained; long-distance buses or carpooling are not used as substitutes.
- Transparent communication and clear explanations before the trip . This is not a "cheaper-looking, but less-experienced" solution.

Q: Will there be altitude sickness in Cusco and Puno?
A: The itinerary has been designed with altitude adaptation in mind. We will start from the Sacred Valley and gradually ascend to reduce discomfort. The oxygen supply on the vehicle, hotels and meals will also be adjusted accordingly.

Q: Can I upgrade my hotel or train?
A: Yes. Please inform us of your preferred hotel (e.g. Belmond, Relais & Châteaux, etc.) via the welcome message and we will provide upgrade options and price differences.

Q: Are meals included?
A: Daily breakfast is included, and some lunch and dinner are provided according to the itinerary; you can also customize the Michelin/local Fine Dining restaurant experience.

Q: Is this a private trip?
A: Yes. Kiki Peru Travel offers 100% customized tours , ensuring flexibility, privacy, and a high-quality experience.

Q: How long in advance should I make a reservation?
A: It is recommended to book at least 2-3 months in advance , especially since tickets to Machu Picchu are limited.
If you want to sign up for the Inca Trail , please make a reservation at least six months in advance - because the Inca Trail is limited to 500 people per day, which also includes quotas for tour guides, chefs, porters and other staff. Once the quota is full, no additional people can be added.
